At its core, a ruler and counterweight from a bronze industrial scale produced in Brazil in the 1930s, the perfect mechanism to change the balance between light and shadow, while changing the balance of the piece itself.

The counterweight and ruler of the scale preserve their original function and history, now rethought as design objects that force an interaction with the piece.
